Nicholson Opens New Office in Detroit, Michigan
Nicholson Construction is excited to announce the opening of its new Detroit office, led by Area Manager Alex Sherman. This expansion strengthens Nicholson’s commitment to providing advanced geotechnical solutions across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
As a Michigan native, Alex brings nearly a decade of experience with Nicholson. After earning a Civil Engineering degree from Michigan State University in 2016, he joined the Midwest office as a Project Engineer. Over the years, he has advanced to Project Manager, working on high-profile projects such as the Prairie du Sac Dam, Grand Rapids Acrisure Amphitheater, MDOT’s Jackson & Mechanic Bridges, multiple scopes at the New Lock at the Soo and recent geotechnical work at Comerica Park in Detroit.
